A Tugboat heads North on the Intracoastal Waterway at Great Bridge.

One of the things I enjoy about photography is getting out around the water at sunset. Here in Chesapeake Virginia we have the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries as our playground. In this case it's the Chesapeake and Albemarle Canal, a part of the Intracoastal waterway. I headed there today not realizing we were due for a rain shower. Well, we got it and when the rain cleared, the Great Bridge Bridge lifted, and the sun set as a commercial tugboat made its way North to points unknown to me. I often wonder where they go from here.
